3/26/26 - Conferred with Van Jeter on his research of local agreements. Spend fragmented, high lift with POC testing still in flux after COVID.  This is a long-term strategy for alignment IF ANYTHING - not an opportunity for the present and low priority on the 2026 lab workplan.  
3/17/26 - Per David Shamlin, this initiative has stopped/started several times without success.  Market dominance on the part of Abbot I-Stat plays a large role. Until there is momentum or a meaningful revival of this as an initiative, I am closing it in Simon.   
3/5/26 - CG has not touched yet.  
Update 05/27/25: 5/27 - Received agreements back from HH, MCHS, PH, SH. Email tickler sent to BH, CMC, MM, and URHCS. Started a tracker. HH notified VJ about having a new Quidel proposal in hand with a six figure savings.

Local agreements capture in process.  Sticking points exist.  Abbott difficulties. HH Quidel agreement 2017 with proposal pending.  Engaging Abbott & Quidel.  Clyde recommends considering Remel as well.
